in action.
A sample shelf of 12 books with example data, not live availability. Tap a book to see how NextRead lays out your options: Libby availability and wait times, a shortcut to check Kindle Unlimited, and Amazon links last.
Sample data for illustration. Real availability depends on your library and changes every day. Amazon links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
What you just saw
NextRead checks Libby for every book on your shelf using your library, and refreshes when you open the app or pull down. Kindle Unlimited and Hoopla open in their own apps for you to check.
On Libby waitlists
NextRead shows your estimated wait. You place the hold in the Libby app: NextRead opens Libby and never places a hold for you. Notifications aren't in the beta yet.
One tap to borrow
One tap opens Libby, Kindle or Hoopla so you can borrow or check there, without hunting through each app yourself.
Try the real app. It's free.
NextRead is in a free TestFlight beta for iPhone (iOS 16 or later). Install TestFlight, then tap the button on your iPhone. Feedback: hello@nextreadapp.com.
